A research study conducted by the National Institute on Aging, alongside New York Medical College, found that resveratrol may trigger genetic reactions in the body that counteract these changes.
Medical science has yet to uncover the exact mechanisms by which resveratrol acts, but confirm that the compound has shown promise in counteracting the more degenerative effects of chronic stress. Further studies have been proposed or prepared to continue to investigate the possibilities.

The US Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) for vitamin E is 15 mg/day (approximately 22 IU) for both adult men and women, including pregnant women. In general, there are no problems associated with taking vitamin E regularly as long as it is within the Institute of Medicine’s upper limit of intake (UL): 1500 IU or 1000 mg/day for men and women. It is important to note, however, that people undergoing anticoagulant therapy (blood thinner) must have a medical professional monitoring their vitamin E intake, as it may interfere with the therapy.
